"El Arte de Flamenco"

This is a documentary that I worked on as part of a 3 man team. On the shooting days I took on the role of boom operator and sound levels. Once the shoot was finished, I was to edit the whole thing together. We shot using two cameras and despite the warnings of multiple camera shoots, it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be.

One of the cameras had a dirty lense but unfortunately that wasn't picked up until editing came round. One of the camera's wasn't adequately white balanced and to top that off our light globes were faulty. We lost both our key light and our backlight and the location was lit by fluorescent lights. These produce a sickly blue colour and now I know how to correct it in post but back then, the director suggested we match the title bars and make the footage pink and black.

It definitely looked unique but because of these hiccups I've picked out a small clip, close to the beginning of the documentary.
