The Old On-Line Portfolio

My old portfolio was created as part the "Electronic Publishing on the Internet" course at UniSA. It felt like a massive undertaking at the time because at the same time as creating the website we had to learn how to create it. It featured a basic guestbook/comments system that ran on XML and php elements. Much like a forum page. It also needed to have the ability to fluidly change to any size ratio or resolution at and above 800 by 600 pixles. All of the pages had to be under 65KB in size and it had to validate when tested against W3C standards for XHTML strict level 2.

In the same course we also had to design a presence in Second Life, a 3D online environment, that was confined to a specific space. This "booth" needed to be able to provide a viewer with various contact methods and a connection to the online portfolio. The booth also provided the viewer with instructions on how to use the booth and could produce copies of digital brochures that a prospective client could store in their inventory.

The portfolio's content included a few of the projects found in this website with the addition of sketches I drew in my final year of high school.
